This CD is a superb compilation of musicians from the Santa Cruz/Watsonville area. It represents a collective of local artists with a common vision, but an eclectic range of styles. "And They Carried A Big Drum" was organized by our lead singer, Amitai, and features New Thrill Parade's first two recordings, "Jealous Brothers" and "Spare My Teeth." We hawked this comp while on the road during our first winter tour in December 2004.
